Is it worth extra money to avoid the low cost airlines (such as Frontier) The bigger issue with Frontier IMO is that they likely only run that route 1-3 times a week and have no partner airlines So all of a sudden your Thursday flight gets cancelled and the best they can do is to get you out on Tuesday Now your vacation is either ruined or you're paying 5x to find a flight <24 hours out on a different airline
