For my money, climbing Palazzo Vecchio was much more “user friendly” and actually gives you a view of the Duomo (which you don’t get when you’re on it!) Palazzo Vecchio had long hours when I visited as well The Accademia is the easiest of these three Timed entry will get you inside, and once there it’s a relatively quick visit

I’m not sure how I almost missed this, but it looks like it’s worth climbing the tower at Palazzo Vecchio for the views Is this correct? I can get a ticket directly from the website, can’t I? I’m wrapping up my planning for next week As of right now, I’ve got two days open in case I decide

I am just about to purchase tickets for the Palazzo Vecchio Secret Passages tour and my question is "do I really need a Video Guide Tablet for Palazzo Vecchio"? It's an extra €8,32 If I need it, then definitely I'll spend the extra but if it's really unneeded then I'd rather not

- Pitti Palace or Palazzo Vecchio with kids - Rick Steves
Palazzo Vecchio has the tower to climb of course would be a hit with kids And the views are worth the climb But if your husband has an injury, he'd probably need to sit it out
- Can’t buy tickets to Palazzo Vecchio or Colosseum in May
Does anyone know why tickets to the Palazzo Vecchio tower in Florence and the Colosseum in Rome (full experience ticket with entry to the arena) cannot be purchased online for mid-May? Specifically May 11 (Palazzo Vecchio) and May 19 (Colosseum)? The Palazzo Vecchio site (official site) says tickets not available yet
- Map Room at Palazzo Vecchio - Rick Steves Travel Forum
Very much dependant on one's interests and time available I'm not sure it's worth fhe price of admission if that's all you want to see in the museum But I can say that we spent a couple of hours in the palazzo Once DH got into the map room, I had to continue on without him, while he stayed there, studying the maps If you have the time, I think the Palazzo Vecchio is definitely worthwhile
