- windows 10 - PC Health Check wont open - Super User
A comment suggested running DISM, but that too didn't work I think I figured it out Unless one is enrolled in the Insider program, PC Health Check has been pulled since at least Aug 2021, and as of writing this, there are no new updates: After a feedback period with Windows Insiders and with the additional updates for the newly added processors, we plan to re-release the PC Health Check app
- This PC is ready for Windows 11 but not getting the update
From the last week the 'Windows Update' section is showing the following: This PC is ready for Windows 11 Also, checked the system requirements using 'PC Health Check'
- Unable to bypass system checks to allow upgrade to Windows 11
Is there a way (that actually works) to bypass these checks in order to upgrade to Windows 11? Also, hoping to do this with Windows Update as opposed to downloading an ISO and going that route In
- Bypass Windows 11s unsupported processor - Super User
PC Health Check report the processor is unsupported so I have no issue with TPM, only with the processor How do I fix this without having to resort to using a third-party tool such as Rufus?
- Getting System Health info via PowerShell - Super User
Is it possible to get System Health status via PowerShell? Info like CPU Utilization, Used RAM, CPU temperature, etc
- How do I find the CMOS Battery Health in a PC - Super User
The CMOS battery is not monitored by the computer's hardware Therefore, the battery status is not able to be seen by the operating system I can only assume that since CMOS batteries often last for many years, even a decade or more in some cases, there was never really a need to monitor them Also, as most are CR2032 batteries (in desktops), they are incredibly easy and cheap to replace
- Update Windows 11 to next feature release after bypassing CPU check
I understand I will probably not be able to use Windows Update to get the new release, but I was hoping I could use the Windows 11 Upgrade Assistant and bypass the CPU test in the PC Health Check app via one of the registry hacks
- Which would be a complete list of check Windows health commands?
I'm having problems with my PC and I need to run some diagnostics I know there are a list of commands for cmd like sfc scannow, but I don't know all of them by memory and different articles found
- How will DISM Online Cleanup-Image RestoreHealth affect my current . . .
You can check the health of the Component Store without restoring the health, but since it takes just as long, I've always believed it's pointless to run the check health command, same as with the analogous command with sfc
- Checking CMOS battery without going into the BIOS - Super User
Many are rechargeable these days, and most on laptops aren’t readily accessible like that (they’re usually shrink-wrapped and connected to the baseboard with a tiny connector), so you need something that can estimate the health of a rechargeable battery, and it potentially needs to handle a rather small and possibly system-specific connector
