Hello RICHARDLANCS I agree with the posts above that under normal circumstances you would not be granted a blue badge I am aware of a friend who's initial application was refused He was talking to his surgeon who was able to take up his case - wrote a covering letter and the re-application was a success, I do hope this helps Best wishes - Brian

Jumping Jack when I started my Radiotherapy I got free incontinence pads through a district nurse It was a weird process as I had to be recommended by my GP first The pads were massive, great for sleeping on I had to use Y-fronts and comfortable (tighter fitting) boxers So the pads can be wrapped around Not being a woman and never having worn pads before, they took a bit of getting used

As an overweight 59 year old I was referred to prehab classes and for 4 weeks I’ve done 2 fitness classes a week and pre op education with macmillan which was brilliant - it encouraged me to do more exercise and eat well and I went into my Op yesterday 8kg lighter I wasn’t so nervous yesterday more upset gutted that it has to be done
