Probably, the best x-plane add on so far, because it fixes a long time annoying problem which is you fly down an approach in low visibility and all the sudden the runway shows up from 10 miles and as you continue the approach the runway disappears which is completely unrealistic Flown a couple of low visibility approaches so far and it works like a charm

Introducing, LessHaze LessHaze uses a sophisticated proprietary algorithm to take an educated guess of what the real visibility should be, and overrides the default 10 mile visibility (when the METAR is reporting 10 miles) Of course, if the METAR reports a visibility below 10 miles, LessHaze doesn't tamper with it Disclaimer

6000 m visibility and 500 m visibility to the South East As for hPa it is usually mostly used by the military and meteorology The hectopascal is equivalent to millibar and commonly used to measure atmospheric pressure and it is something that most private pilots skip over I hope this helps a bit more

This is something that I'm personally not happy about, but it can be changed back by a single setting in the rendering options It greatly helps in achieving a very good balance between visibility of the instrument panel and the runway scenery ahead while NOT making the instrument panel looking 'tilted'

X-Visibility plugin will drastically improve the visibility at altitude and removes the unrealistic whiteout effect I recommend you edit the LUA file and change the value for xvis_highAltFogMult to 0 35 for a less intense haze
