However I normally shop at Tescos as they are 24 hours so I sometimes shop at 7am on a Saturday or they are close to Hertford East so handy when coming home from work ^^ This! Also, whilst I perceive that the prices are higher than Tesco and the range isn't as good (isn't it a bigger store though?), the cafe is the real winner for us

Were there any warnings of this? I missed them Am fielding frantic calls from Mrs N still trying to get kids to Nursery on North Road! The sight lines approaching the roundabout from town and Tescos are no good and some drivers are going across too fast; I've seen a number of near misses myself

Re: Recommended Pharmacy by Kateg28 » Mon Jun 09, 2014 1:39 pm I know this sounds weird but I have had excellent service from the pharmacy in Tescos I went there one Saturday evening in a lot of pain and the lady there was really helpful and discussed my options and what might help and side effects etc I was very pleasantly surprised

However, if Waitrose were to wait perhaps 18 months, I'd bet a few bob on Sainsbury's closing their hertford branch as when i've been there on a saturday morning, it's been like a morgue (albeit a morgue that sells fruit and veg) with the move away from larger out of town supermarkets for the Tescos and Sainsburys of this world, only premium

People still park in Tescos and shop at Waitrose, ditto Sainsburys (which was intended to be free but that is another story) Yellow lines are a bit of a double edged sword
