Lofta is a cheap and quick way to get a prescription Between the test and getting my prescription took about a week You can opt to buy a machine from lofta or get your prescription emailed to you (lifetime at that) and then upload it to cpap com and buy from them but lofta says they will price match with an additional 10% off

Should I skip all the doctor BS and just use Lofta? My insurance is HSA based and doesn’t kick in until I hit a $6,000 out of pocket so regardless if I go through a doctor or Lofta or whatever, I’m paying out of pocket with my HSA because there’s no way this is going to go over $6,000

My experience with Lofta A couple of weeks ago I was looking for a way to get myself checked out for sleep apnea and I noticed that in-person sleep studies takes an extremely long time to schedule for appts so I went on this subreddit for suggestions A couple of users recommended me to go with Lofta for prescription and cpap machine

I did Lofta com and even though I got the worse sleep of my life that night, apparently the results are still good and my AHI is 65 2, which seems absolutely extreme

They also removed the unit’s SD card These were easily remedied, but an annoyance nonetheless tl;dr: Overall it was a positive experience from start to finish with Lofta Customer service seems receptive and were always courteous and flexible But, advertising the test-to-therapy in a week seems unrealistic
