The biggest secret to a good crimp, is keeping "all" Your cases trimmed to the same length All cases, even in new ones (even from the same batch) are not necessarily the same length, all of them in any given caliber should be trimmed to insure not only length, but also the squareness of the case mouth Uniformity = accuracy, constant velocity spread !

If I have to full length resize or run a case through the body sizer, I use the messy ol' lube pad with RCBS lube Messy but effective I put everything in the tumbler after deprime and size, so mess really doesn't bother me and all that oil's good for my ancient old hide Molon Labe Kim
