trueOnly cloning the C partition isn't enough for booting nowadays You'll also need the EFI partition at the very least You might even want to clone the whole physical drive instead of separate partitions Not sure why you can't even assign a drive letter to the cloned partition though Maybe run chkdsk on it? Or maybe it is encrypted with Bitlocker?
