That is the Blue Thunder 4v dp intake they are a dealer Not a bad intake, but the Stealth is easier to obtain I would not expect to see an incredible difference between the Stealth the dual 4 bbl , unless the carburetors on the 2x4 are not tuned effectively

I actually talked with the guys brother today that owns the Blue Bandit GTO funny car, it is in a garage in Texas, the guy won't allow anyone to see it, but his brother said the guy is getting ready to retire and is going to restore it and nostagia race it he said it is exactly the way it was when his brother bought it from mine but it was weathered

Growing up working with small engines and lawnmowers, we always looked for a fat blue spark at a grounded plug, that made a snapping noise in the air Red or orange, no good These had a coil or magneto type ignition How about a points and condenser ignition with a straight 6 or V8? Is it the mag only that makes a blue spark?

The plating appears to be in good condition but it's turned blue I've had limited sucess with a product called "Blue-away" purchased at the local Harley shop on some plated exhaust manifolds but it took a ton of rubbing and only about 50 #37; of the bluing came out Plus, it was obviously abrasive with some kinda grit in it

Got some new shoes for the '54 and I'm trying to remove the blue protective coating from the raised white letters What a hassle! Simple Green and a scrub brush didn't phase it Resorted to wet sanding with 320g and that kinda worked but there must be a simpler way Any tips?

The 2nd time I painted it, both the blue and the white were oil based paint, and I sprayed both with a cheap HF gun The shine lasted longer after being sprayed The oil based paint (without the hardener) was good for 3-4 years before it looks really old

The Blue Thunder Cobra will WALK ALL OVER the rest, with the possible exception of the Stealth(sorry, didnt notice it there the first time) Compared to the original Cobra intake, the runners are enlarged, and the septum is opened up It'll run neck and neck with the Performer RPM
